Adriano was born in Porto Seguro in 1978 where he first began his traditional afro-brazilian dance training and where he learnt the basics of capoeira. In 1996 he entered the dance company " Axè Odara " known throughout all of Brazil.
In 2001 he left for Paris for the launch of the photographic book "Raizes" by the famous photographer Arlinda Mestre, produced with artistic photos of Adriano and there he continued with his career as a dancer. In 2002 he moved to Italy where, although he continued with performance and choreographic work for the major television networks and most important entertainment agencies in the country, he decided to dedicate more of his time to teaching. In 2003 he began collaborating with cultural exchange organizations and thanks to these projects he was able to spend time in Burkina Faso where he furthered his knowledge and experience of African dance and where he also led afro contemporary workshops for local artists. In 2013 he founded his own Afro Dance group "Gruppo Afro Corpo e Mente in Movimento" which as a body organizes courses and workshops in Milan and across the rest of Italy as well as being involved in fundraising events and performances. In October 2016 Adriano moved to the UK where he will continue on his journey and share his unique style and energy. He is currently teaching at Danceworks in Mayfair.
